This hand-thrown celadon bowl is a super special piece. It features an embossed shell detail where the ceramicist has used seashells to stack pieces in the kiln to keep the glazes from sticking, a traditional Japanese practice. It's form is wide and low making it a beautiful display or serving bowl.
